About this grant
The Energy Redress Scheme has distributed more than £181 million in funding to support 721 projects since 2018. The funding is collected through Ofgem's enforcement and compliance activity, where companies that have breached energy rules agree to make voluntary payments into the scheme. Energy Saving Trust manages the allocation of payments. This round includes projects such as Greener Kirkcaldy's 'Connecting Communities' project providing energy advice to 700 households, Community Action Northumberland's 'Powering People' project supporting off-grid households, and Cwm Arian Renewable Energy's 'Unlocker' project expanding renewable energy generation in rural West Wales.
