Eligibility

  • Organisations must be charities, Community Interest Companies, Co-operative Societies or Community Benefit Societies.
  • Grants support energy advice, carbon reduction and innovative energy services, particularly benefiting vulnerable households and fuel-poor communities.

About this grant

This announcement reports on the distribution of £9.7 million in grants across 34 organisations in the twelfth round of the Energy Redress Scheme. Funding supports initiatives delivering energy advice, driving carbon reduction and developing innovative energy-related services to vulnerable households. Examples include Citizens Advice Denbighshire's 'Fuel-Sense' project (£148,810), Grimsby Community Energy's 'Community Solar Project' (£126,440) and FEL Scotland's 'Future Power' project (£94,280). Since 2018, the scheme has distributed over £191 million to support 755 projects. The Energy Saving Trust manages allocation of these payments.
