About this grant

Apply for funding to deliver innovative AI supported research using UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) social science data. You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding. This funding opportunity is invite only. Project leads must have participated in the AI supported research using UKRI social science data sandpit held in Manchester on 23 to 24 June 2026 to be eligible to apply. The full economic cost (FEC) of your project can be up to £230,000. UKRI will fund 80% of the FEC.
