About this grant

Apply for funding to translate bioscience research into innovations such as products, services or solutions that generate real-world economic, societal, and environmental impact. You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding. Projects must build on prior Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) support and include a clear pathway to real-world use through commercialisation, adoption, or progression towards deployment. The full economic cost (FEC) of your project can be up to £800,000. BBSRC will fund 80% of the FEC.
